About this funding
Start Up Loans are government backed personal loans for people starting a new business or growing a young one, available to founders across the Liverpool City Region. The programme is aimed at businesses that have been trading for under three years.
Loans range from £500 to £25,000. Because these are personal loans rather than business loans, the individual borrows rather than the company, and free mentoring and support come alongside the finance.
The scheme is run by the British Business Bank, and applications are made directly through the Start Up Loans website.
